Goodies for Sale ~ Tuesday, September 13

Hi, Everybody,

 I've got some nice produce for sale today on the picnic table near the greenhouse, including some beautiful bunches of beets and carrots with the greens.  I love the carrots.  Amazing taste and color ~ Unlike any that you'll find at the grocery store.  This will probably be the last of the beets until early spring.

Available Today:


  • Beets or Carrots ~ $3.00 a bunch
  • Cucumbers ~ 50¢ each 
  • Peppers ~ Bells (purple or green) = 75¢ each                
    Others = 25¢ each or 5/$1
  • Squash ~ White Scallop ("Pattypan")
  • Tomatillos ~ Green or Purple = $2 per container
  • Tomatoes ~  Reisentraubes, Tappy's & Money Makers = $2 per container  OR
                          Seconds from the basket = 25¢ each

Saturday, September 3

The stand is set up again today for as long as the weather holds.  Same variety of produce and prices as listed in the previous post.

Thanks so much to everyone that stopped yesterday!   I really do appreciate it.  The money goes towards recouping the costs of the garden and then eventually toward my schooling costs.  It is also a big encouragement to know that others are enjoy good, wholesome food :0)

  • Peppers ~ Bells (purple or green)
                     Others = 25¢ each or 5/$1

P.S.  I've been accepted into the 2012 MSU Student Organic Farmer Training Program, and I'm super excited!  And I had a great time entering things from the garden in this year's Oakland County and Armada Fairs.  More on that later :0)
